Objective
Design and prototype a website for your hometown, village, city, etc. Utilizing basic design principles to create a modern and unique web-based design and user interface.
Content
New York City is comprised of 5 boroughs, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, and has a population of about 8.5 million. As one of the most densely populated cities in the United States, the city of New York has a lot of information being sent between each sector of the city government.
The redesign focuses on giving the website a more modern look and changing the way how the information in order to make it more user friendly, allowing residents to easily get the information that they need.

Personas
Personas were created and made to get a better understanding about the demographic, needs, motivation, and frustrations of those that will use this website.

Graphic Assets
Graphic assets of different icons were made. These icons were used and put on pages that were information heavy and needed some imagery to help balance. Also, the icons were used to help those who are more visual oriented or whose first language isn't English to know where to go and what certain sections are about.
